[0:00] Well, good to see everyone's here today. And again, like I said, we're starting out the year 2025. Going to be interesting.
[0:11] I guess we will put everything in God's hands to make sure that we know where we're going and what we're doing. But the long story short, we pray for a blessed year for all of us.
[0:24] We don't, again, know what's in store. We know that we're in a very tumultuous time, and we know by what's going on, by what the Word of God is saying and what things are happening in current events, that it's going to keep being unpredictable.
[0:39] Let's just put it that way, horizontally. But vertically, very predictable. In fact, I think of late here in the probably last five years, a good chunk of prophecy has just been fulfilled just through Israel, what's going on there.
[0:53] And if you know anything about Ezekiel, and we talk about a lot, this is about 36, 37, 38, 39, but roughly 37 and 38, we know that they're getting in a position for a war.
[1:04] And it's strange because Russia is bedfellows with people that probably 10 years ago wouldn't even want anything to do with Turkey or wouldn't want anything to do with Iran, but they are now close.
[1:17] And they're in Syria. And Syria wouldn't want anything to do with Iran, but they are now bedfellows. But this is what the Word of God said was going to happen. So when we look at things vertically, we can now look at things horizontally and say, it's going according to the plan.
[1:35] Yes. Way to go back there, Kathy. She said thumbs up. Yes. And we're going to teach on this a little bit. Ironically, like I said, again, I was just reading this a little bit this morning, convicting my own heart.
[1:46] I think anybody that comes up here, and I really want to just take another moment to digress for a second for Pastor Jack. I just can't say enough how much this man did for this church, honestly, and his wife and the sacrifices, yes, that they did.
[2:02] I mean, and not compromising. I don't know how many thousands of teachings he's done, but anybody that gets up here, and I just think anybody that witness, you will know you're convicting yourself as you're teaching this.
[2:17] If you've got any yeast or any sin going on, these words will jump up and cut you as well as everyone else. So this man is a very honorable man. He has kept it very well.
[2:27] He did not compromise. And, again, we just can't say enough of what he did and what we enjoyed today. And I'm standing here being part of it. And thank you, Jack. Thank you so much, and your wife, Peg, and everybody else.
[2:39] So I'm going to start here. The title of my teaching here is called, Will I Find Faith on Earth? We all know that Jesus made that question. And we're going to start here with Luke 18, 1 through 8.
[2:52] And I'm going to read that real quick. It starts here. It's, again, like I said, Luke 18, verse 1. It says, Then Jesus told his disciples a parable showing them that they should always pray and not give up.
[3:05] Now, I will just speed bump over those words when I'm reading because I want to get to the next verse. It says, He said, But we ought to pause there for a moment. Just think, this is God saying.
[3:17] God's saying we should always pray and never give up. I don't know if any of you lately, But I've been praying for certain things for years and haven't seen nothing yet.
[3:29] But I'm not giving up. That's what we have to continue to look at. Again, way current events, the way things are happening, we've got to continue to pray and don't give up.
[3:40] Keep giving the gospel. Keep telling what's going on. Keep letting people know that this isn't falling apart. It's falling in place. It's all going to the way God said it's supposed to be.
[3:53] And it has to do with not so much that there wasn't a better time, and I don't want to digress too much, because Jesus came to the Jews as the king. He had the kingdom. We could have brought this in, but they weren't willing, it says.
[4:04] So what happens? We have to go through this. And this is where we're going to kind of get to. So he said, He said, Sounds like a typical politician.
[4:19] But anyway, And there was a widow in the town who kept coming to him with the plea. She said, Grant me justice against my adversaries. So somebody was holding something that she deserved, but wasn't letting them have it.
[4:32] Maybe for personal reasons. Doesn't give. But for some time, he refused. But finally, he said to himself, Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because of this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming.
[4:52] And the Lord said, Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring justice, bring about, excuse me, will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night?
[5:05] Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they will get justice and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, so we know he's returning, will he find faith on earth?
[5:22] That's an interesting question because I think it's rhetorical. Will I find earth is definitely a rhetorical question. We know that many Gentiles will be martyred during the tribulation.
[5:32] They will not take the mark of the beast of the system and face the consequences of death. We know that's going to happen. If you go to Revelation 6-9, and I'm going to stop there for a second just to read that.
[5:47] But Revelation 6-9, just to confirm it, it says, when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.
[5:59] They called out in a loud voice, How long, sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of this earth and avenge our blood? Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed, as they had been, was completed.
[6:19] These are the people that will not take the mark of the beast, and they'll be martyred. And notice what they're saying to God. They want to avenge. They know they've been mistreated.
[6:31] They know what's going on. It's a terrible time. And God says, hold off a little bit. There's a few more they're going to give their life to Christ before I'm going to return.
[6:42] So it goes on, it says, and we all know that a third of the Jews will cry out to the Lord in faith, triggering his return. We learn that in Zechariah 13, 8, and Matthew 23, 37 through 39.
[6:58] I will not return to you until you, the Jews, call out to me, Jesus says, Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. So we also know that there's faith going on with the Jews.
[7:12] Then what does Jesus mean when the Son of Man come? Will I find faith on earth? What's he getting at? Well, I think the real meaning behind this question reveals a point in a time when not just Israel is blinded by the enemy, but the world in general will be led astray.
[7:31] I believe we are heading toward Romans 1 right now. Abandoned wrath. God has taken his hands off and says, hey, you want it bad enough? And just read Romans 1. It's incredible.
[7:43] I remember reading Romans 1 20 years ago, and I couldn't believe what I was reading there. But it's there. It's happening today. So it goes on, like I said.
[7:57] We're going to keep this a little bit further, and we're going to go a little bit further. It said, again, talking about a world that leads astray. Matthew 24, verse 37, Jesus said, As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of Son of Man.
[8:11] Keep your finger there, because we're going to eventually go back to Matthew 24. But again, like I said, we're going to be teaching more on this and look at the few prophetic events that went right underneath the radar screen and question, why did Jesus say, as in the days of Noah?
[8:26] Why those times? So how was it during the days of Noah, and what was it really like? In Genesis 6, it doesn't go in great details, but we definitely discern that God was fed up with mankind.
[8:40] His wickedness grieved him. Verse 5 says, Every imagination of the thought of man's heart was on evil continually.
[8:54] Imagine that. Again, read Romans 1. How can that be? I mean, you've got to sleep sometime. As you can see, that time was wicked.
[9:07] So I'm going to avoid the murderous, the insane moral debauchery that was going on, the spiral and further and further downward, but I want to point out a spiritual blindness.
[9:20] And I'm going to use some facts here, so Tim, you can mark me on these. You're a math guy. You'll know. It says the ark took about 75 years to build. Okay, and that's quite a long time to see some big boat getting built and figure out why you're building it.
[9:34] It was roughly about one and a half football field in length, four stories high, and 73 feet wide boat. It had to be the talk of the town. Nobody could miss this thing.
[9:45] I don't know if you've ever been in Kentucky where they do have that at Genesis. Back to Genesis, it's amazing. We went there, my wife and I. It's huge. But anyway, like I said, again, 73 feet wide.
[9:57] Had to be the talk of the town. Roughly at that time, and again, you're going to get a lot of different numbers, but they say there's 170 to 241 million people on earth. That's a lot of people.
[10:08] Not as many now, 8 billion. But there's a lot. And we all know that only 8 faith-filled people got on that boat. 8.
[10:21] I'm not sure what percentage that would be, but I'm sure it's too small to show up on a pie chart. It would be a slither. Again, possibly 250 million people living on earth and only 8 got on the ark.
[10:36] This should forewarn us on two things. Number one, that man can get so full of himself that his heart becomes total darkness. That's a scary thought.
[10:48] The most scariest words I think one can hear is when Jesus says, Verily, verily, I do not know you. Now, he created us. He surely, but he's rejecting.
[10:59] That's a scary time to be. What does it say? It's a dreadful thing to fall in the hands of the living God. Second, God will not be mocked.
[11:11] We know we will reap what we sow. We sow into wickedness. You know what you're going to get is wickedness. If you sow into spiritual things, you will receive spiritual or eternal life.
[11:21] You will receive such things of that nature. 2 Peter 3.9 says it this way, The Lord is not slow in keeping his promises. Some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
[11:40] So I'm going to give a little bit of my personal opinion, just so you know. So when someone says to me that God is unfair and he judges so strict and so rough, I would reply back, How unfair we are, who are sinful, can mock an all-merciful God?
[12:04] Answer my question, and then I'll answer yours. Because that's where we're at. You look around, flip your TV on, it doesn't matter what you do. Contempt for God's name, contempt for who God is, contempt for the family.
[12:21] We have such a brokenness going on. It goes on, it says, We just celebrated Christmas story with the birth of Christ. And by what is noted in the Bible, instead of the crowded stable, all ooh-ing and ah-ing over this child, who was foretold, and his birth was predicted, it was just the opposite.
[12:45] And I'm going to read that for a moment. I'm going to go back to Matthew 2, verse 1. I can get there kind of quickly, if anybody found. It says, To visit the Magi's.
[12:55] It says, After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of the King Herod, the Magi's from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, Where is the one who's been born, the king of the Jews?
[13:07] We saw a star in the east, and we have come to worship him. When King Herod heard this, follow these words, children. When King Herod heard this, he was disturbed, troubled.
[13:22] Again, he's a Jew. Troubled. But it goes on. And all Jerusalem with him, they were disturbed over this. It goes on.
[13:34] It says, When he had called together all his people, chief priests, teachers, laws, scribes, whatever, we've asked them, Where is this Christ to be born? In Bethlehem in Judea, they replied.
[13:44] They knew. But they were troubled over this. To me, this tells me again, there comes a point in a time when Jesus says, Will I find faith?
[14:00] Is he being too far out of line? And when he says, As in the days of Noah, as when he's talking Matthew 24, which is the Olivet Discourse, where he's talking about the tribulation, and his opening words in that is, Do not be deceived.
[14:13] Do not let anyone deceive you. He knew 2,000 years this was going to go on. How close are we today? If 2,000 years Jesus saying forewarning, and even the apostles are doing that, we're 2,000 years closer.
[14:32] And we're seeing it unfold. It states that King Herod and all of Jerusalem was troubled over this question. This shouldn't have been a surprise, considering that they had the Torah, the prophets, and the signs.
[14:45] At least four prophets in the Old Testament specifically covered the who, what, when, where, and how on this. Again, then how come just three Gentiles from the east and a handful of shepherds show up for his birth in a barn?
[15:03] It's incredible. Can we be that blind? Can Jesus say that? I think so. Where was everyone else?
[15:16] At that time, there was an estimated 300 million people on earth. The population doubled, almost. Again, three people that were Gentiles and some shepherds because angels told them what was happening.
[15:33] How did something of this magnitude, this is only second to his crucifixion, this is not the greatest moment, but it is the second greatest moment because we had to have that child to go to that cross.
[15:48] His destiny was to forgive sins and to pay the price for us. So how can such a magnitude of things go right underneath the radar screen?
[16:00] I tell you how that can happen. When the world gets so comfortable with their sinful nature is when we stop seeking God. We think we're okay.
[16:13] I run across a lot of proud people. I don't know if you do. They're not believers. And if they are, some of them are not true believers. They're religious. What I'm trying to say is I'm not picking on anybody. I'm not trying to point the finger, but I'm just trying to say to you that we've gotten to a narcissistic point of no return.
[16:32] In Romans 1, it talks about homosexuality. It says that men were inflamed. That's crazy. But that's where we're at. This is why Jesus is being strong on his words, but he's telling us something is coming down the pipeline.
[16:46] The bad part is, are we like a Noah's day? Are we blind? Are we like the Jews? Don't see it coming. It goes on.
[17:00] It says, when the world gets so comfortable with our sinful nature, we stop seeking him. If one doesn't think he's sick, what good will it be to make a referral? I deal with people with brain health and physical health all the time.
[17:14] A lot of times, they do not feel. They're sick. Talk to an addict. He'll say he's not sick. Truly, he's wrong, but he'll tell you. I'm fine.
[17:26] That's what I'm getting at. We are seeing this happening before us. If the world does not believe they are born sinful, and absolute truth is subject to personal interpretation, then God's abandoned wrath begins.
[17:41] That's where Roman 1 starts. I'm going to go there and touch a little bit on this. Romans 1, and I'm going to start on verse 21. It says here, it says, for although they knew God, and they neither glorified him as God, nor gave him thanks to him, but their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
[18:09] These are some tough words Paul's writing. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images that made them look like mortal men, birds and animals and reptiles.
[18:23] Now, we may not be seeing it, but we're seeing that in other ways. We see that in global warming, how much they worship that. It goes on, it says, therefore God, what, gave them over to a sinful desire of their hearts, to the sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies.
[18:46] There's a third part coming. He says, they exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and they worship and serve the created things rather than the creator. Talk about science rules.
[18:58] Who is forever praised. Because of this, God gives them over to a shameful lust that even women exchanged natural relationship for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relationship from women and are inflamed with just, with lust for one another.
[19:18] Men committed indecent acts with other men and received them themselves the due penalty that is in their perversion. I won't dwell on that. It stands on its own merit. We're seeing it happen.
[19:30] But listen to this. This is the part I wanted to catch here. Furthermore, since they did not think it was worthwhile, think it was worthwhile to retain knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind to do, to do what ought not to be done.
[19:48] I just talked about, he gave them over to the desires of his heart, the bodies, and the mind, the mind, body and soul. That's abandoned wrath. God says, you want it bad enough, have it.
[20:01] I'm not going to fight you anymore. And those are scary times. Because sometimes we the church think we can nibble a little bit of that yeast. We think we can maybe just do a little sin because look how crazy they are.
[20:16] But we can't. And we're going to get to that. We're supposed to be holy people. We are the standard. We are the light. Remember, Jesus came in this world. The light came. Came to his own, but they did not accept him.
[20:27] And remember, the verdict is that they love darkness more than light. That's what I'm saying. This is what we're seeing. Ecclesiastic 311 says this, and I love this part.
[20:38] He has set eternity in the human's heart forever. Eternity. We always know there's a greater destiny in this. It can't be all about this.
[20:49] It can't be. Even if you don't believe in Christ, and I'm not saying that's the truth, but I'm saying there's more. They know that. It says here in the Bible, listen to this, there's no atheist since what may be known about God is plain to them because who?
[21:03] God has made it plain to them. Not Jim Munson. God has. We find out in that setting, Ecclesiastic, he has set the eternity in the human heart.
[21:15] They are without excuse. That's coming up next. Although they know God. If you have any doubt, read Revelation. Three or four times it comes up. After the judgment, they curse God.
[21:28] They curse God. I thought there was no God. And you're cursing God because they know who's now bringing the judgment on them. And it says what? But they will not repent and turn from their wickedness.
[21:43] That's a scary moment to be turned over to your depraved mind, heart, and soul, and body. I know this is some tough food here and I'm going to kind of hopefully let up on you.
[21:56] I know I pushed a lot at you. But now let's bring it to present time. Let's go from camel speed to jet speed where the world is connected at one click of a key. Where the information highway is unlimited.
[22:09] Where AI can give you anything you desire. Instant gratification of a stroke of a key. Where in Daniel it says many will go here and there and to increase knowledge. That was 4,000 years when that man said that.
[22:22] Is that going on? I even got numbers from there. And even worse, chapter 8 says he, the Antichrist, will cause deceit to prosper. Do we see that happening?
[22:36] Man, that's going on. And again, Jesus said similar words. Watch out that no one deceives you. My prayers for my children is one thing.
[22:49] God, do not let my children be deceived. All four are saved. They're raising their children and saved, but don't get me wrong. It even said during the tribulation if the elect wasn't under some divine appointment, a divine, I should say a divine holiness, Jesus said they would be deceived.
[23:09] We are prior to that and we are getting a taste of that. That's coming at us. Deception. We know that when you go on your phone, you younger people are a lot smarter than I am, not everything on there is the truth.
[23:24] In fact, you really have to dig through to find out what is the truth. But a lot of people say this is the gospel. This is where the deception is happening.
[23:38] Dummy people down. And I'm not picking on anybody that looks at their phone, but I'm telling you, do your work. If it sounds fishy, it probably is. But it goes on in closing, so I don't put everybody down.
[23:49] I'm going to bring some good news to you children. Listen to this. Look what we have to look forward to. I agree today it is the most exciting as well as the most darkest. I'll agree to that.
[24:01] It's a great time to be alive actually. These prophets that wrote this thing, even these guys in the New Testament, Paul, Peter, James, John, all thought they were going to see what we're seeing.
[24:15] All thought that they were going to go in and they were going to see the return of Christ and they were going to embrace Him and the kingdom was going to be set up for them. In fact, if you read in Acts, what's the first thing they say?
[24:26] Are you going to set up your kingdom? They're still thinking because they know. But they didn't see it. But we can. We have the best shot. Some of you that are very young have the highest shot seeing it.
[24:40] I'm going to close it as this. I agree again. It's the most exciting but darkest. Christianity is only, is Christianity and I'm going to kind of phrase this because this probably isn't right, but I will say Christianity is the only belief or I'll use a term I don't like using, religion or faith that has, that as times on the earth become worse, our destiny only gets better and better.
[25:07] Did you get that? As things just go south this way, it just gets better for us as we know our Savior draw near. He says, when you see all these things happening, know that I draw near.
[25:22] the Jews, if they weren't so blind, it should be in heaven right now. They should be just full of such joy as they watch their enemies surround them because they're saying, oh, it's going to happen.
[25:35] Come on. God's going to divinely take some of you out. Praise God. But here it goes on and says, a quick snapshot. I'm going to run down here. Again, those in the body of Christ known as his bride are going to be caught up in the air with the groom in a twinkle of an eye.
[25:53] That quick we're going. It goes on, it says in a nanosecond, we go from being mortal and dying with these decayed bodies, these sinful natures, we go from that type of filthy rags to an immortal and glorified body like Christ.
[26:19] None of us deserves it, but we get it. We spend seven years celebrating with a glorious marriage supper of the Lamb. And when the tribulation is completed, the Jews will cry out, Barak, Habab, Basham, Adonai.
[26:32] Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. And the Lion of Judah, not the Lamb, but the Lion of Judah, gets on his milky white stallion stallion, and says to us, mount up.
[26:49] We're going to set the chosen people free. We're going to set up his kingdom. You know how fast we're going to get on those horses? It goes on, it says, King Jesus will take the throne of Jerusalem.
[27:03] He'll sit on David's throne, and with an iron scepter, he'll separate the sheet from the groats. And those on the right, he says, come, you are the blessed by my Father. Take your inheritance.
[27:13] Listen to these words. He says this, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. He had us in his heart before he even spoke a word on earth for light, water, separate.
[27:28] He could see all this before he even blew air in Adam's nostrils when he took a wad of dirt and made him. He saw Israel already the head, not the tail.
[27:39] And the world will be full of salvation and full of God. So again, the kingdom prepared since the creation of the world. For a thousand years, known as the millennial, there will be peace on earth like we've never seen before.
[27:57] And we go, and Israel will go from the tail to the head of the class. Woo! The head of all nations. Everything will hub and spoke out of Israel.
[28:08] Israel. Everyone will be blessed. And if you don't show up for the feast, you get no rain. You'll have a famine. And they'll know it. It's like manna, keeping it more in 24 hours.
[28:18] It turns kind of magnet and stinging. You know, if you ever dealt with anything that kind of got nasty with flies, you can be revealed real quick. Whoa! You got something there. Same for them. They don't show up.
[28:28] They'll be hurting. Israel will be the apex of everything. And you know what it says? Ten Gentiles will grab one Jew by his tallit and say, take me to your God.
[28:44] Oh, praise God. And to think, we'll be glorified. And we're enjoying this. And as if you think, that is great enough. And again, I will say this way. Fulfilling Genesis 12, 3, I will bless those who bless you and whosoever curse you, I will curse.
[29:01] And what did he say at the end? He says, and all nations shall be blessed through you, Abraham. All nations. Now I will say that is happening today, but not at the level it's going to be during the millennial.
[29:15] Can't go real far on that, but that's happening. And if you think this is great, it just gets better and better. Listen to this. We work side by side with those on earth, repairing and restoring the world. We don't hear sirens in the background.
[29:29] Don't have no preachers. We have no graveyards. Ever think about that? No graveyards. No funeral homes.
[29:40] No hospitals. Nothing of that nature. We don't lock our doors at night. Could you imagine that? A child can play with a viper and a lamb lays down with a lion.
[29:56] Talk about the example of God. As we stir in the wind, yes, another rebellion must occur, but this is the last one. It only takes seconds. God will take fire to those who rebel and pile of ashes.
[30:10] And I'm doing my own little terminology here. And he'll just blow and they're gone. He won't go through an arm again and again. This time you want to rebel, it's done. And it goes on a little bit further than that.
[30:21] The earth is set on fire. And I'm going to go here just for a second here. I'm going to close off. How close am I getting? Got a few minutes so I can go there. I'm going to go to 2 Peter verse 3.
[30:35] Let's see. Hebrews, John, John jumped too far. 3 verse 10. It says, but the day of the Lord will come like a thief.
[30:48] The heaven will disappear with a roar. The elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. He goes on and says, since everything will be destroyed this way, what kind of people you to be?
[31:05] He gives us insight. So listen to this. This is what we're supposed to do. You ought to live holy and godly lives. Nothing less. I know we're not perfect.
[31:16] Go back to your God when you sin. But I'm telling you we should live holy and godly lives. As you look forward to the day of the Lord and the speed, it's coming. Now again, this guy wrote this 2,000 years ago.
[31:27] How fast do you think we're dealing now? How quick can we make information fly in nanoseconds? I've always said this and I don't mean to digress too much here for a second.
[31:38] I don't believe it's by years calendars that we're seeing this prophecies go into effect. I believe it has to do with technology. As we become more and more that the Antichrist can have one guy rule the whole world by this thing that I'm holding by this.
[31:56] I'm probably just keep it out. By this way. Oh, Jim Munson ain't a believer? Cut him off. Oh, he thinks he's going to escape. I'll send an eye after him. Are you aware that AI now they make right now for military?
[32:08] A little bug about yay big? And it has a camera on it? And you think it's a fly? And oh, by, it has a weapon in it too. It can shoot a dart in the back of your head and put you out.
[32:21] That's what I'm saying. When we look at what's going on today, insiders tell us that whatever the military have, they're 30 to 40 years advance. And they're saying all big nations like China, Russia, and ISIS, they all got it.
[32:33] So whatever we think they got, we say, well, we know of, they're further down the path. And I go back to my opening statement that technology is moving this forward. Because when the time is right, the enemy's going to be able to reveal this person.
[32:48] And God's going to say enough. Because you know what we're going to do? We're going to chip people. And we're going to try to make people inhuman. And we're going to try to reprogram them so they can't think independently. And then again, what did the enemy say?
[33:02] And then I'll be like God. He'll have his own world. So as we keep going faster and faster, don't look at your age. If you're older, it doesn't matter. It's technology, I believe, is moving us into this end days.
[33:16] And we are breathing down the neck. Everything is there to set it up. Everything. So I'm going to go back here if I can catch where I was at. You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God.
[33:28] Speed is coming. That day will come about the destruction of the heavens by fire and the elements will melt the heat. Again, like I said, heaven goes in fire too. But in keeping with this promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth and the home of the righteousness.
[33:44] So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patient means salvation, just as our dear Paul also writes about.
[34:01] So I'm not saying we'll be sin free. You're going to have your sins go back to God. Those who have chronicle sin problems, I'm not going to hear the judge, not saying, go to the cross. It's the only place I know you can't pray enough, and I'm only going to digress a little bit.
[34:15] You can't pray enough, you can't fast enough, you can't commit enough, you can't white knuckle enough. It's the only place I know where sin comes, and it can't stay.
[34:26] You walk in that cross before God, and the shame of your sin cannot enter, cannot follow you. You will not feel no shame before God, because the finished work of the cross, when he said, it is finished, it's over.
[34:45] So anybody fighting chronical sin like pornography, addiction, whatever the case may be, go to the cross. It's not a one and done deal when you become saved and say, well, I did it, I'm done, no. If you're battling sin, you're saying, I try so hard, Mr. Munson, I just keep falling back, go to the cross.
[35:02] I guarantee you, when you go there, there is no shame, and sin can't enter in his presence. It will stay outside that door. I'm not saying it won't wait for you, but you will become so close, and the power of the Holy Spirit only works in the realm of that holy cross, and he will take that sin from you, and it will be gone.
[35:23] I can assure you that, but it's the only place I know where you take sin. So in closing here, I'm going to go to Revelation 21, and I'm going to read verses 1 through 8.
[35:37] So here we go with what's going to happen when I was just telling you the earth is now burned up. Heaven is now burned up. And why is that? I'll give you a quick snapshot.
[35:47] Earth because of man. Everything man tainted. Again, he went back rebellious after a thousand years of utopia. So God said, it's enough. There's no fingerprint of man anymore.
[36:00] But why heaven? What's wrong with heaven? Because that stinky breath Satan was up there. And his foot paws are up there. I shouldn't say, but his footprints are up there.
[36:13] And he's the accuser of the brethren. God doesn't want any of that either. So here's what he does. Then I saw a new heaven, John writes, and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth has passed away.
[36:27] I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, come down from heaven, from God, prepared as a... No, look, women, you've got to enjoy this. Prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
[36:38] I can't think of nothing sweeter than my wife when she was dressed for me. Wow. Anyway, and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, now the dwelling of God is with man and he will live with them and they will be his people.
[36:53] These are powerful words we'll have. And God himself will be with them and they be their God. He will what? Listen to this, children, listen to me. He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
[37:07] Your tear ducts will not work no more. God, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more death, like I said, no more graveyards, no more nothing. Out of these ashes, beauty will rise.
[37:21] He will wipe every tear from their eyes and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the older order of things. For the older order of things, us aging and dying, saying goodbye to our loved ones, will be gone, has passed away.
[37:37] Imagine that term. We say to people in a kind way, I heard so-and-so passed away. This someday, the whole system we're underneath will pass away. It'll be gone. And then we'll say in 1 Corinthians 15, O death, where is your sting?
[37:57] O grave, where is your victory? Oh, what a sweet time that'll be. So he goes on, I'll close out with this. He who is seated on the throne says, I make everything new.
[38:11] And then he said, write this down for these words are trustworthy and true. I'm not going to go any further and I'm going to leave it there, but he said, it is done. I am Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
[38:23] To him who is thirsty, I will give to drink without cost. Remember the woman left her bucket at the end of the well when she told Jesus, where's your bucket? When you experience Christ, everything that's important to you will not be important anymore.
[38:37] You will run off to see him like that woman did. But it says, drink comes without cost from the spring of the water of what? Life. He who overcomes will inherit all this and I will be his God and he will be my son.
[38:52] But hear this, take the warning that God puts with us. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexual immoral, the people I talked about in Roman 1, those who practice magic arts, idolatry, and all liars, their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
[39:08] this is the second death. So what do I want to say in closing here? Sometimes people say, Jim, sometimes maybe we can be too heavily minded to be earthly good.
[39:22] I've heard that term used with people with Christians. You mean well, but you lose the main point about people and I don't think we ever do that. But I say this, maybe, probably maybe, could, but I usually don't think that.
[39:34] But I say, when there is no earthly good, then one better get heavenly minded because it's easy to slip. So in closing here, look up and know that your Savior draws near.
[39:49] So I'm going to say a prayer here. Harold, you want to come on up here and bless us with your wonderful music? Dear God, the Father, when I woke up this morning, I didn't feel like I had the strength to deliver this.
[39:59] I don't know why, but I just felt weak and tired. And then when I read this thing, it convicted me when I read about don't give up, keep praying. And I felt inside my heart how many people today are praying for loved ones to be saved or praying for cancer to be cured or praying for some kind of world peace or whatever.
[40:22] I say to you as what God said, don't give up, continue to pray. And I'll close off with Abraham didn't see the stars, but they still came. He said that he's going to have as many descendants, but we are.
[40:36] Moses didn't get to see the promised land, but they are in the promised land. Poor Daniel was too old. He couldn't go back. He searched the scriptures heavily and he couldn't go back because he was too old, but he read that in Jeremiah that in 70 years they'll return back and he wanted so bad.
[40:53] But if you ever want to read something sweet, read his repentance, read his contundent prayer about him and the Jews. David, David, David who committed sin and had blood on his hand couldn't build the temple.
[41:04] He wanted to so bad for God because as he lived in a throne house he could see a ragged old tent that's been around for years was where God was staying at. But he did buy and build and had all material for Solomon to take over.
[41:19] So God, even if we don't see your return, we will come back with you. We will set up your kingdom and your will will be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.
